Personal Museums are an approach to personal data that gives individuals complete control over their digital information. Museum owners consolidate all their digital artifacts (health records, financial data, communications, online activity, photos, etc.) into a single, secure personal archive that they own. Acting as curators, owners decide which galleries and exhibits to open to different visitors - from public exhibitions accessible to anyone, to VIP areas reserved for approved visitors, such as health care providers or family members, to private curator-only spaces that remain completely confidential.
